Principles of air leakage and air sealing will be covered, with special emphasis on attic air sealing; how to do it safely and effectively. Insulation materials and strategies, and how they relate to solving ice dam problems will also be discussed. This course is designed for both the do-it-yourself homeowner and those wishing to hire a contractor to solve ice dam problems.
